The fast pace in which demographics change at this moment in time, calls for an adaptive and resilient built environment. BAMB encourage cities and human settlements to promote and adopt circular economy practices in the built environment.

To facilitate the shift to a circular building sector and reduce the adverse environmental impact of cities by decreasing waste, the project is developing reversible design tools, Materials Passports and decision-making models to enable flexible, adaptive buildings in which materials and products can be recovered and reused in continuous loops.
