Invitation to the Presentation of the B.R.I.C. Pilot Project

December 12, 2016 from 9:00 to 12:00 (CET)

Dear stakeholders,

As members of the BAMB Special Interest Group on Case Studies and Pilots, EFP and Brussels Environment would like to invite you to the stakeholder meeting of the BRIC Pilot Project on December 12th from 09:00 till 12:00.

The Building Reversible In Conception project (BRIC) developed in the context of the Regional Plan for Circular Economy of the Brussels Capital Region and the European HORIZON 2020 innovation project Buildings As Materials Banks, consists of a pedagogical unit that will be used as an information and teaching tool. It will enable to integrate the sustainable management of resources and different aspects of circular economy and circular building in the training of future contractors through the design, construction, use and deconstruction of the module and its components. Therefore the project will be focusing on:

  • Reversible design
  • The use of new circular building materials and reclaimed/reused materials – Short circuits and continuous loops
  • Circular design focusing on high energy performance and the sustainable use of water

This stakeholder meeting aims to present the BRIC pilot project to stakeholders and explore potential cooperation.
