Buildings As Material Banks – Circularity as a Path to Resilience:
The Perspective of Two Public Bodies
Sustainable and resilient cities are easily able to adapt in response to citizens’ needs, while balancing those needs with the Earth’s carrying capacity. Circularity and the BAMB project provide a path forward through reusing building materials in a circular economy. For two public bodies, BAMB not only provides an opportunity to construct resilient cities but also to translate sustainability goals into concrete action.
